We strive to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. This Shipping and Returns Policy outlines how we handle shipping, delivery, and returns or exchanges for orders placed on www.lawtools.com.au
1. Shipping Policy
a. Shipping Destinations
- We currently ship to addresses within Australia and New Zealand. If you’re unsure whether we ship to your location, please contact us at sales@lawtools.com.au.
b. Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. During peak seasons or holidays, processing may take longer, and we’ll notify you of any delays.
c. Shipping Methods and Costs
- F.I.S & F.O.B shipping on all orders over $250 (Ex. GST) for Brisbane Metro, excluding bulky and oversized items.
- Shipping costs are currently calculated by our sales team based on your location and order weight and dimensions. We will contact you via email to confirm shipping costs prior dispatch.
- Excludes contract rates customers. Please refer to your agreement for Shipping Policy.
d. Lost or Damaged Shipments
- If your order is lost or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at sales@lawtools.com.au.
- Please include your order number and photos of any damage. We’ll work with you to replace or refund the affected items.
2. Returns Policy
a. Eligibility for Returns & Credits
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
- The return request is made within 30 days of delivery.
- Proof of purchase (e.g., Tax Invoice) is provided.
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Special Order” products are non-returnable.
b. How to Return an Item
- Contact us at sales@lawtools.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
- We’ll provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.
- Ship the item back to Lawtools Pty Ltd, 16 Lyons Terrace, Windsor QLD 4030 within 14 days of receiving the RA number.
Return shipping costs are the customers responsibility. For items being returned under warranty, please contact us on (07) 3857 4855 or sales@lawtools.com.au.
3. Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).
